Velas Resorts in Mexico deliver festive offerings this holiday season. Enjoy Christmas and New Year’s programming along with traditional Mexican celebrations.

Guests can take part in holiday cooking classes, gingerbread house workshops, holiday wax sculpture classes, letter writing to Santa and more. Order an in-suite Christmas tree by Dec. 15 and opt for a pre-decorated tree or adorn the tree as a family. Gift-wrapped toys may also be purchased ahead of time and delivered to the suite on Christmas. New this year, Velas Resorts presents a glow party light show complete with LED images, special costumes, accessories and music. Guests receive a $50 spa credit per adult per night and a 10 percent discount on items from the resorts’ boutiques. At Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, guests can participate in a professional lifestyle photography session. The property also offers 50 percent off kids’ rates and a $30 spa credit for teens ages 13–15. Guests staying at Casa Velas receive 5 percent off the nightly rate, a suite upgrade, a $70 credit toward a private Christmas dinner and tickets to the New Year’s Eve gala dinner at sister property Velas Vallarta. Those staying at Velas Vallarta receive 50 percent off kids’ rates, a complimentary city and culture tour, 10 percent off items in the on-site boutique, early check-in or late check-out and a $300 resort credit per stay per suite. Mar Del Cabo guests receive 20 percent off spa treatments and complimentary daily breakfast at the on-site Encanto restaurant.

All-inclusive rates include accommodations, a la carte meals at the various restaurants, premium-branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, fitness center access, taxes and gratuity. Properties adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols of its Stay Safe with Velas program.
