Take your furry best friend on your next family trip with the launch of the Pampered Pooch package at Mar del Cabo by Velas Resorts. The three-night offer features deluxe accommodations in the penthouse suite, personalized pet concierge services, a special pet menu, a sunset picnic and dog-sitting services.
Furry friends are welcome upon arrival with pet-friendly transportation from the airport to the hotel, where pets are greeted with a special welcome amenity, cozy bed, bowl and toys. The suite features an equipped kitchenette, bathroom with a step-in shower, and spacious living and dining areas. The large private terrace is the perfect spot to relax under the warm Cabo sun and take in views of the Sea of Cortez.
The pet-friendly menu was specially crafted to ensure healthy and delicious options free from salt, onion, garlic, leek and any other ingredients toxic for pets. The menu includes a salmon “poke” bowl for dogs made with seared salmon, poached spinach and a boiled egg; a beef-mince burger served with farm-fresh lettuce and carrots; roasted chicken breast served with peas, roasted potatoes and carrots; white rice; and a desert option of a banana split made with whipped cream, vanilla and coconut peanut butter.
For the humans, enjoy a sunset picnic on Sol Terrace, including a beautiful setup from the hotel including wine and cold cuts. More than 90 percent of the ingredients come from nearby fruit and vegetable orchards, ranches and producers.
Mar del Cabo also offers dog-sitting services up to three times throughout the stay for one hour each session.
