Miami Beach Holiday Festival of Lights returns to South Beach Dec. 13–22, letting family travelers enjoy live musical performances, festive characters, snow and projection-mapping displays to celebrate the holidays.
Lighting and captivating visuals will take over The Betsy Hotel on Ocean Drive, turning the property into an interactive exhibit of imagery and sound. During this production, every surface becomes a living canvas as projections play off the hotel’s various shapes and textures in unison with the rhythm of the music. Performances take place over two weekends:

Dec. 13, 14 and 15
Held at 6, 7:30 and 9 p.m., attendees can expect favorite holiday characters like the Grinch, Santa Claus and Elsa. Kids can play in the snow, and all can enjoy a live orchestra. On Dec. 14, the show will be followed by City of Miami Beach’s Annual Holiday Drone Show on the beach.
Dec. 20. 21 and 22
Also hosted at 6, 7:30 and 9 p.m., this event includes a holiday show featuring a blend of music, lights and project mapping, as well as special appearances from Santa Claus and other holiday characters. Snow will also be present.
