Plan family travel to the Florida Keys this holiday season and celebrate Hawks Cay Resort’s 40th season of holiday programming.
The season begins with Thanksgiving festivities. Participate in a scenic walk or run through the islands of Duck Key on the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K. The walk/run begins at 7 a.m. and requires a $35 advance registration fee. The resort’s water-side Angler & Ale restaurant also celebrates the day with a Thanksgiving feast. The menu boasts holiday classics including turkey and mashed potatoes, as well as local favorites like peel-and-eat Key West shrimp. Available 12–8 p.m., the meal costs $70 for adults and $35 for children.

The fun doesn’t stop there. The resort offers festive family fun for the rest of the holiday season. Complimentary activities include letter writing to Santa, menorah lighting, meet-and-greet with Santa, story time and hot chocolate with Mrs. Claus, and a Christmas evening campfire. Book an elf tuck-in for your little ones. Available Thursday–Sunday evenings, the experience costs $25 per child and includes a bedtime story and holiday gift.
Children can also craft their own ornaments on Wednesday and Saturday mornings for $10. Angler & Ale hosts an ugly sweater party complete with live music and food and drink specials. Book a treatment at on-site Calm Waters Spa and receive complimentary aromatherapy. Enjoy hot cocoa and cider from stations in the relaxation rooms.
