Family travelers looking for a unique way to spend Easter weekend can look to Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures, which hosts its second annual World’s Longest Floating Easter Egg Hunt on April 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participate in this one-day-only Easter “Eggspedition,” which includes a 12-mile rafting adventure along the Colorado River while searching for jumbo-sized Easter eggs hiding along the riverbank.
Along each mile, one of 12 large eggs will be placed in a visible location, creating an interactive experience as guests drift down the canyon and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Participants are encouraged to take photos of all 12 eggs along the ride and share them on social media for a chance to win a pontoon boat rental on Lake Mead or Lake Mohave. Once the journey is over, guests receive an Easter holiday gift bag filled with candy and swag from Lake Mead and Mohave Adventures.
All photo submissions will be accepted April 3–11, and the winner will be announced April 15. Eligible submissions for the prize must include images of all 12 eggs. Images can be uploaded on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, but must tag both @HooverDamRaftingAdventuures and @WillowBeachMarina for the chance to win.
“We wanted to create something truly different for Easter in Las Vegas—something that blends adventure, exploration and holiday tradition,” said Chad Taylor, director of marketing and guest experience, Lake Mead Mohave Adventures. “Floating down the Colorado River while hunting for giant Easter eggs is an experience families and friends won’t find anywhere else in Southern Nevada.”
