Family travelers have even more reasons to visit Orlando in 2025 with the opening of Universal Studio’s newest park: Epic Universe. The theme park officially set a date of May 22, 2025, for the debut of Epic Universe, featuring four new theme parks, new hotels and more.
The all-new Epic Universe brings some of the most beloved franchises to life, from SUPER NINTENDO WORLD to How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. Guests can also expect a park dedicated solely to some of pop culture’s most iconic monsters and dark creatures like Frankenstein, werewolves and vampires.
The newest Wizarding World of Harry Potter park will transport guests back to 1920s Paris and the 1990s British Ministry, complete with a new ride where guests help Harry, Ron and Hermione stop Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. Magical shops and chances to interactive with fantastic beasts also await.
Video game fans will love SUPER NINENTO WORLD, where Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country promise colorful landscapes, exciting rides and fun eateries. While in this park, boost your fun with a Power-Up Band, where you can win keys in interactive activities, collect digital coins and digital stamps, track your score, check your rankings, and more.
At How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, you’ll discover an island where fire-breathing dragons and Vikings exist in harmony. A coaster ride on Hiccup’s Wing Gliders is sure to bring thrills to the entire family.
Celestial Park will be home to the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel and will serve as a world between worlds.
