New Evening Sledding at Granlibakken Tahoe
Granlibakken leans into family-friendly snow play with evening sledding, giving guests a festive way to end the day alongside its beginner hill and intimate ski area.

Major Upgrades at Palisades Tahoe
Expect new automated fan guns, upgraded compressors and new pipe/valve systems at Palisades Tahoe. The property also reveals refreshed lift access gates for smoother loading, as well as expanded water capacity to support a stronger early-season snowpack.
Mt. Rose just unveiled Wildslide Tahoe Tubing Center, a 20-lane, conveyor-served tubing park, as well as additional snowmaking upgrades and expanded racing events. It’s all located an easy drive from Incline Village and the North Shore.
60th Anniversary of Diamond Peak
Diamond Peak celebrates 60 years with retro-themed events and specials, including select $60 lift tickets and deals on lessons and rentals. There are also new Google Street View tours of every run so guests can scout the mountain before arrival.

Expanded Tahoe Live 2025 Festival
This year, Tahoe Live expands to a three-day festival with headliners like Zeds Dead, Alison Wonderland, DJ Diesel, Porter Robinson, San Holo, Jessica Audiffred and Peekaboo. The festival takes place on the mountainside stage in Olympic Valley, pairing skiing and riding with après-friendly night shows.
New Net-Zero Lodge & Glide Pass
Tahoe XC is building a new net-zero energy lodge (a first in the basin), as well as launching the Glide Pass, an on-site rental pass for classic and skate skis for travelers not traveling with gear. Tahoe XC also continues to offer free day passes for kids under 19 and adults 70 and up.
