Walt Disney World Resort, the Happiest Place on Earth, is known for delicious food, one-of-a-kind experiences and beloved characters — these are just some of the many reasons guests keep coming back.

One of Disney’s most famous experiences is character dining, and it’s an obligatory activity at least once during a trip. Although some of these experiences may not be open at the moment due to COVID-19 restrictions, here are some of the best character dining experiences in Disney World for the future.

Be Our Guest

Be Our Guest

Located in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland, Be Our Guest is one of the rarest character dining experiences on the Walt Disney World Resort property. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but character dining is only available at dinner, and it is the only place you can meet the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Make sure to try “the Grey Stuff,” it’s delicious.

Chef Mickey’s

Dance, sing and dine with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey’s, located in The Contemporary Resort on the Seven Seas Lagoon. While enjoying a buffet-style meal. The Fab Five (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald) all come around to your table for autographs and photos. Don’t be surprised if they stop for a dance party.

Ohana

Enjoy a family-style breakfast with a Hawai’ian twist and visits from guests. Throughout breakfast expect Lilo, Stitch and some of their friends to drop by. Take advantage of these rare meet-and-greets with a photoshoot or an autograph.

Rhode Island’s Weekapaug Inn Rolls Out the Welcome Mat for Pets and Their People

Family travel means something different for each type of family, but for those of us with dogs, it takes on a whole meaning. Our furry friends are part of the family, and traveling with them can bring so much joy, but also a great deal of stress in trying to find the perfect blend of luxury, fun and relaxation while making sure our pets get the comfort and care they deserve.
