Travelers are ready for some rest and relaxation this spring break. Travel insurance company Allianz Partners surveyed travelers on their upcoming spring break travel plans. The study found Florida to be the top domestic destination. Mexico took the top spot among international destinations.
Allianz Partners analyzed more than 1.8 million flight itineraries between five- and eight-day trips in length to compile the results. For domestic vacations, Florida ranked most popular, with five cities in the top 10. Overall, domestic travel is on the rise, with 77 percent of those traveling for spring break staying within the United States. Road trips will be popular this year, with 40 percent of vacationers planning to drive to their destination.
International travel is more complicated than in years past due to ever-changing COVID-19 travel restrictions. Mexico takes the top three spots on the international travel list, thanks in part to the country’s entry requirements. Costa Rica is another popular spot, with two of its cities rounding out the top 10.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network.
