Montage Deer Valley Announces New Autumn, Thanksgiving Activities for Families

Montage Deer Valley, in the Wasatch Mountain region of Park City, Utah, offers a wide range of autumn-inspired programming for families and guests of all ages.

 

Fall Harvest Activities

  • Spend an hour with the family at the Archery Range to enjoy a friendly competition of targeting fall pumpkins with the new Pumpkin Archery experience
  • A customized Pumpkin Carving Workshop offers prizes for the most creative designs
  • Families can partake in a Scarecrow Making Workshop and either take home their creation or donate it to Compass Sports

 

Signature Fall Adventures

  • On the Fall Foliage Auto Tour, families drive around some scenic sites in northern Utah, including Cottonwoods, Mirror Lake Highway and Wasatch Back, by a Montage guide
  • A Private Stargazing Adventure takes families, along with a Montage guide, out to explore stars and constellations in the night sky

 

Grateful Gatherings

  • Families looking to spend Thanksgiving at Montage Deer Valley will enjoy the Grateful Gatherings offer, including a turkey dinner in guests’ suite of residence

 

Montage Deer Valley recently partnered with Adventure IO, offering premier adventure experiences. For the fall season, guests at Montage Deer Valley can enjoy the following activities with Adventure IO:

  • Rachel Mitchell, Utah Master Naturalist, will lead a guided hike to admire the area’s flora and fauna
  • Fly fish along the Provo, Green and Weber rivers with expert guide Joe Mitchell, followed by a gourmet picnic and wine
  • Guide D.J. Osborne leads guests on an off-road UTV’ing excursion, complete with stops to admire the breathtaking scenery

United Continues Its Global Expansion

United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
