Known as the Christmas Capital of Texas, Grapevine offers holiday fun for the entire family. Grapevine celebrates 40 days of Christmas with more than 1,400 activities and events for families.
Spend time in historic downtown Grapevine, exploring festively decorated Victorian houses, Christmas trees and photo-worthy holiday decorations throughout Main Street. Witness the 33rd annual Carol of Lights Nov. 22, with the official lighting of the downtown light display. Stop by the Christmas Market, with locally made treats and gifts. The market opens Nov. 27 and runs through Dec. 22. Watch more than 100 lighted floats and marching bands parade down Main Street during the annual Parade of Lights Dec. 2. For a different parade, head to Lake Grapevine Dec. 4 for the Twinkle Light Boat Parade.
Visit historic Nash Farm for a full schedule of free and ticketed events, leading up to Christmas. Watch a performance at the Palace Theatre. The recently restored theater features a full lineup of holiday performances, including ballet, standup, live music, a radio play and holiday movies. Grapevine Library hosts events, markets and activities throughout the month of December. Stop by Vetro Glassblowing Studio now through Dec. 31 to make your own glass ornament from scratch.
