Aurora Expeditions recently announced the launch of its small-ship cruises for the 2027 season. The collection features 21 voyages across 22 countries for your next family travel getaway. Booking is open.
“Our new season goes beyond cruising – it’s storytelling at sea,” said Katie Malone, CMO, Aurora Expeditions. “Whether it’s a wine tasting in Bordeaux, tracing Viking sagas in Scandinavia, standing on the battlegrounds of Culloden, or visiting Prince Albert’s private car garage in Monaco, every voyage connects travelers to history, culture and community in a way that only small ships can.”
Small-ship voyages bring guests to the Mediterranean and Adriatic, Atlantic and African Coast, Central America, Northern Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. These itineraries range from nine to 17 days aboard the brand’s Greg Mortimer, Sylvia Earle and the soon-to-debut Douglas Mawson ships. These vessels are able to access smaller ports in hidden gem destinations, unreachable by larger cruise ships. Voyages average about 130 passengers per trip.
Each sailing features a Master Storyteller aboard. These acclaimed historians, genealogists and art experts bring the destinations to life through captivating tales. On shore, guests have access to immersive Your Choice experiences ranging from UNESCO World Heritage site visits to wine tastings.
Brand-new itineraries will be available for the 2027 small-ship cruise season: A Mediterranean Feast (Valletta to Barcelona), La Dolce Vita (Nice to Rome), Treasures of the Adriatic (Valletta to Zagreb), Costa Rica & Panama: Crossing the Canal (Panama City to San Jose), Europe’s Engineering Icons (Amsterdam to Copenhagen), Spirited Shores (Ireland to Portugal), and For Kin and Kingdom (England & Ireland).
