Family traveler-friendly Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino enters a new era fresh off a multimillion-dollar renovation to all 414 guestrooms and suites.

“I couldn’t be more energized about this next chapter for the Aruba Marriott Resort,” said Raoul Lemmerling, complex general manager, Aruba Marriott Resort. “It comes on the heels of recent upgrades to the Stellaris Casino, and splendid expansions and enhancements to the Mandara Spa. The refreshed room aesthetic introduces a breath of fresh air for our beloved repeat guests and first-time visitors, and is just one step in our ever-evolving journey to exceed expectations.”

The new design blends modern elegance with relaxed island vibes for a light, bright coastal vibe with a palette of sand, tan and taupe. Sea glass-colored accents add subtle pops of color and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and showcase panoramic views of the surroundings.

The design boasts a light, airy, marble-topped work desk; an inviting seating area with sofas and armchairs in tropical tones; new flooring and sleek fixtures; photographs of the neighboring palm trees, sand and sea; bathrooms with double vanities with marble countertops, back-lit mirrors, lightwood accents, open shelving, waterfall shower heads and a shower foot niche; and, in select rooms, oversized soaking tubs.

The resort’s 24 suites, which start at 625 square feet, were also redesigned, and feature a wrap-around balcony. Three Junior Suites and two Governor’s Suites are part of the resort’s Tradewinds Club, an elevated, adults-only experience.

Mandara Spa, the largest on the island at 6,500 square feet, also received a refresh to include new saunas and steam rooms, alongside décor enhancements to 12 treatment rooms. The spa’s outdoor courtyard is now outfitted with a new hot tub, cold plunge and additional seating.
