Set in the midst of a desert landscape of rolling sand dunes, Outpost Al Barari will offer guests a relaxing oasis with 21 luxury lodges equipped with private pools and decadent accommodations designed to give visitors a luxurious retreat from the excitement of Qatar’s many tourist attractions, not to mention the thrill of the World Cup in November.
Guests can enjoy the privacy of their own getaway or experience a world-class meal from the resort’s restaurant before lounging by the outdoor firepit while enjoying a stunning desert sunset.
Outpost Al Barari, located in Qatar’s Al Wakrah Municipality along the border of Saudi Arabia, will be a first-of-its-kind resort for the country, which reopened its borders to tourism a little more than a year ago. Focused on sustainability, hospitality and integrating nature with the guest experience, the resort lies in the Inland Sea Nature Reserve.
In addition to opulent accommodations and exceptional culinary delights, the resort will offer incredible experiences like hot-air ballooning, stargazing, spa treatments and immersive desert walks, all designed to bring guests closer to nature. The desert walks allow guests to discover the beautiful wildlife that calls this extraordinary landscape home.
