If you hear the phrase “golden ticket,” you’re apt to think of Willy Wonka and the popular films to have come from the franchise. But did you know Grande Lakes Orlando takes the golden ticket concept one step further? This spring, the popular resort pays homage to the classic film and recent movie Wonka with a one-of-a-kind Golden Ticket Experience.
During Easter weekend, young guests at Grande Lakes Orlando are welcomed with a special chocolate bar upon arrival. Five of these, created by the resort’s in-house chocolatier, have a special Grande Golden Ticket wrapped within them. Lucky winners will receive a special Easter-themed gift.

Winners will also receive a personal shipment of 50 pounds of chocolate from the Easter Bunny to their home to keep the fun going long after the trip has ended.
Beyond Easter weekend, Grande Lakes Orlando boasts a full line-up of spring events. On March 29, don’t miss the Springtime Festival on Valencia Lawn from 12 to 5 p.m. On March 30, take part in the Bunny Hop Cookie Workshop, where children of all ages can decorate cookies with colorful icing and candy.
And, on May 11, treat mom to a special Mother’s Day Tea in The Ritz-Carlton Lobby Lounge. Tea includes live entertainment and a special gift.
