Travel Tips

Choosing where to stay during a visit to Argentina can be as difficult to decide as where to go in the vast country. Here, we take a look at a handful of family hotels in Argentina and its varying regions.

Alejandro 1 – Hotel Internacional Salta

In downtown Salta you will find Alejandro 1 – Hotel International Salta. The hotel is within walking distance — even for little feet — of the city’s major attractions, including the main square, just two blocks away. Opt for one of the suites for more room to move and make yourself at home, and for a parents’ night out, inquire about the hotel’s babysitting services.

Meliá Iguazú

If you and your family are planning a visit to Iguazú National Park, you will want to be sure to make reservations at Meliá Iguazú, within the park itself, and, in fact, near Iguazú Falls. Aside from all of the wonders of the national park awaiting discovery, the hotel’s pools overlook the Paranaense jungle and the falls, and there is even a kids’ pool for more splashing. The hotel can also help you make the most of your time here, helping to plan family-friendly excursions to the iconic sights you have come to see.

CH Madero Urbano Suites

Families visiting Buenos Aires may want to consider staying at CH Madero Urbano Suites, a full-service, 4-star hotel right in front of Puerto Madero. Ideal for short-, mid- and long-term stays, the hotel has all the comforts to make you feel right at home. The Family Suite easily accommodates two adults and two children, and features a kitchenette so you can easily prepare quick meals and snacks to stave off hunger. The swimming pool can provide hours of fun, and the on-site laundry will make quick clean up of any messes that may happen.

Lares de Chacras Hotel Boutique

If your travels take to you to Mendoza, consider a stay at Lares de Chacras Hotel Boutique. The cozy, architecturally pleasing hotel features wood and stone, just two blocks from the main square and within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants. A stay in a classic room can accommodate families when you opt for twin beds, with additional beds added if needed. An outdoor pool is the perfect place to cool off — or expend any extra energy — and the on-site restaurant makes it convenient to stay in to eat, if you prefer.
