At Generations Riviera Maya by Karisma, family travelers are the focus, with the goal to create the ideal place for rest, relaxation and recreation for families. When you aren’t visiting the nearby Tulum ruins or hitting the beautiful beaches of Mexico’s Maya Riviera, the resort offers plenty of incredible amenities and programs to keep the whole family busy. Families can enjoy activities like snorkeling, eco tours, tequila tastings and kids’ programs for all the little ones, from toddlers to teens.
One of the most exciting programs for kids is the Little Eko Chef Program, offering both education and fun. Designed for kids aged 4–12, the program allows kids to learn the joy of exploring the world through food. Whether they want to learn to make sushi, tamales, pasta or even their own chocolate bars, classes taught by master chefs teach kids to work with different flavors and ingredients to help them discover a passion for cooking. By learning proper techniques in a fun atmosphere, they will not only enjoy their time on the Mayan Riviera but will also return home with a newfound hobby that just may last a lifetime.
The program is available Monday through Friday, 3 p.m.–4 p.m., leaving plenty of time for the little ones to enjoy the rest of the day with the whole family.
