The property combines the brand’s signature collegiate-inspired design with mid-century modern architecture and classic Texas ranch design. Located in the former Lumen Hotel, the building retains its original architecture. Expect to see classic Texas elements throughout, from shearling armchairs to cowhide ottomans.
Los Charros Smokehouse, the property’s signature restaurant, showcases Tex-Mex and Texas barbecue cuisine. The name honors los charros, Mexican horsemen known for vibrant attire and spirit. The space also features a bar with saddle-style bar stools.

“Introducing the Graduate brand to Texas — one of the country’s largest and most dynamic markets — is a major milestone for us,” said Parker Henderson, brand leader, Graduate by Hilton. “A Graduate in Dallas’s Highland Park was a natural fit, as the property brings our collegiate-inspired hospitality to a neighborhood that reflects our core values of lifelong learning. It also kickstarts the brand’s Texas expansion with another property slated to open in Austin.”
Graduate by Hilton’s portfolio currently includes 35 properties in the United States and United Kingdom, with additional openings in the pipeline.
