Lake Placid’s Whiteface Lodge invites family travelers to embark on a summer retreat like no other. This summer, Whiteface Lodge brings the summer camp experience and nostalgic family vacation to summer travel. Combining waterfront recreation, family-fun activities and new dining experiences, the resort brings a new twist to the classic American summer vacation.
Summer Fun at Canoe Club
Canoe Club offers access to water-based fun such as the Ski Nautique G24 for tubing and waterskiing, a vintage Wooden Hacker Craft, dedicated swimming areas, and a pontoon boat. Additionally, guests can take advantage of complimentary kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, paddle boards and more. The Canoe Club also has beachside fun, including beach volleyball, bocce ball, tetherball, life-sized Jenga and other lawn games.
This summer, the Canoe Club also debuts a new dining experience, Dockside Dogs, bringing a fun menu inspired by summer cookouts. Menu highlights include Michigan dogs; slaw dogs; veggie dogs; and the signature Lodge Dog featuring black pepper bacon crumble, caramelized onions, shredded gouda and maple bourbon sauce.
America 250 in Lake Placid
Like the rest of the country, Whiteface Lodge celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with activities like patriotic parades, fireworks, live music and Olympic-inspired festivities.
Kamp Kanu
Whiteface Lodge offers a seasonal supervised children’s program, allowing little travelers to experience the Adirondacks through crafts, games and outdoor adventures.
Complimentary Adirondack Adventures
Guests can enjoy traditional summer fun like kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, pedal boating, nightly s’mores, movie nights, bowling, tennis, pickleball, mini golf and more.

Best of Both Worlds
Enjoy the best of both worlds when you fly with TAP Air Portugal thanks to the Portugal Stopover program. With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.
