This holiday season, Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa transforms into a winter wonderland, unveiling new Christmas suites as well as an expanded lineup of festivities. Just outside of Austin, Texas, on 405 acres along the Colorado River, Lost Pines will debut festive Christmas Suites featuring cozy accommodations and holiday décor, like trees and shining accents. With these suites, family travelers can step directly into the magic of the season with a festive storybook backdrop as they exchange gifts, warm up with hot cocoa and more.
Along with the new suites, the resort also offers an extensive lineup of holiday celebrations starting Thanksgiving and ending with New Year’s Day.
Thanksgiving Weekend Celebrations
- Turkey Trot: Have an active family? Start your Thanksgiving morning off with the Turkey Trot, a spirited 1-mile fun run through the resort.
- Thanksgiving Buffet: Throughout the day, enjoy a spread of holiday classics and chef favorites like roasted turkey, prime rib, oysters, crab and an assortment of desserts.
- Tree Lighting & Holiday Market: On Nov. 28, get in the Christmas spirit with a festive market, Christmas movies under the stars, photo ops, and even a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
- Build-A-Buddy workshop: Create your own unique souvenir to take home to remember your trip.
- Pine Cove Fire Pits: Enjoy a night around the campfire with s’mores.
Christmas Programming
- Cozy Christmas Cabanas: Reserve private poolside cabanas decked out with holiday decorations, movie screenings, firepits for s’mores and hot cocoa.
- Santa Fun: Interact with and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus during Breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus every Sunday, Meet Santa & Mrs. Claus every Friday and Saturday, and Santa’s Workshop.
- Christmas Dinner: Guests spending Christmas at the hotel are invited to a delicious feast on Dec. 25. The buffet will feature a seafood display, seasonal salads, carving stations, a separate children’s buffet and a dessert spread.
