Dr. Kate Bruce, an Australian veterinarian, shared helpful tips on ideal getaways for every type of dog based on the most wish-listed, pet-friendly stays made possible by Hosts on Airbnb.

Dr. Bruce said this stay is great for active pets, especially as its situated among some fantastic walking tracks — you and your pup can get fit together on holiday.

Perfect for laid-back fur families, the elevated vantage point is perfect visual stimulation for dogs, allowing them to watch nature pass by them.

There’s a dog-friendly beach just around the corner from this Mediterranean rental. But Dr. Bruce reminds owners to wash pets thoroughly after the beach to avoid skin infections.
