La Colección Resorts by Fiesta Americana takes family travel to the next level with a new experience inspired by Disney and Pixar. Until March 31, 2023, all resorts create and feature immersive experiences inspired by iconic Disney and Pixar films and characters, allowing children to live out their dreams.
Travelers visiting any of the La Colección Resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean are welcomed with unique photo opportunities with beloved characters. Other activities include augmented reality games, immersion into Nemo’s world with 360-degree experiences and access to Disney- and Pixar-inspired content.
Guests’ unforgettable adventures begin with photo opportunities in the lobby. Upon arrival to the room, guests receive a QR code that transports them to the world of the beloved movie, Monsters Inc., where kids are invited to explore Boo’s room with James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski. Kids receive a magical welcome kit, including a coloring book, colored pencils and pens, a Disney or Pixar character-themed water bottle, and many more surprises throughout the stay. Kids visiting beach resorts also receive a Buzz Lightyear towel and a hat featuring characters from The Incredibles franchise.
Guestrooms feature smart TVs with access to Disney+ streaming service, so families can wind down after a long day with a classic movie.
“Through this partnership, we look to add another exciting offering to our portfolio inspired by the characters children and adults alike love best, those from the Disney and Pixar movies,” said Enrique Calderon, vice president of hotel operations, Grupo Posadas — La Colección Resorts’ parent brand. “Thanks to the technology we’ve implemented at our resorts, we can provide our guests with this innovative experience complemented by our excellent service, distinctive gastronomy, and premium locations in the world’s best destination. This truly solidifies us, especially within our Fiesta Americana and Grand Fiesta Americana brands, as the perfect allies for remarkable family getaway.”
