Japan is trending in a big way this year, with the country expected to break tourism records in 2025 and reach pre-COVID levels from 2019. One of the most popular destinations family travelers choose to visit is Osaka, a city offering rich history and vibrant culture, an amazing culinary scene, and plenty of modern amenities and attractions to make it welcoming for families. This spring, Hilton will introduce a brand-new property so families can enjoy the city in style.
Waldorf Astoria Osaka, set to welcome guests starting this month, will be the first introduction of this ultra-luxurious Hilton brand to Japan. Located within Grand Green Osaka, an urban mixed-use development near Osaka Station featuring outdoor spaces, shops, restaurants and luxury hotel properties, this hotel will feature 252 rooms, wellness facilities and an indoor pool. There are also four different dining and beverage options, including the Waldorf Astoria icon, Peacock Alley. Menus will feature seasonal, local ingredients and utilize the creativity of expert chefs and mixologists so families can get a taste for local cuisine and French cuisine (surprisingly quite popular in Japan).
Waldorf will be an ideal choice for families who want to see more than one region of Japan, as Osaka is within an hour of popular destinations like Nara, Kyoto and Kobe. With the brand’s stellar concierge service at your fingertips, you can get help making arrangements for sightseeing daytrips and activities to keep you busy far beyond the sites and attractions of Osaka, which already include Universal Studios Japan, Legoland Discovery Center and Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.
