Six Senses Crans-Montana is giving families a new reason to plan their next family vacation in Switzerland. The property recently launched a kids club that includes 50 different activities, all designed to let kids have fun and learn new skills while connecting with nature.
While moms and dads are busy indulging in the spa or getting some alone time at luxurious Six Senses Crans-Montana, kids 5 and up can participate in one of the Kids’ Club activities curated to teach things like self-care and sustainability. The goal is for them to play while learning useful skills with activities that other kids’ clubs don’t offer. For example, they can learn to give themselves foot massages, create candles using upcycled materials and learn how to work with alpine herbs to make an herbal ball compress for aching muscles.
These wellness activities, which aren’t typically teaching skills kids instinctively gravitate toward, are a great way to instill a sense of wellness, eco-friendly thinking and an understanding about how we interact with nature. To further deepen that connection with nature, kids can choose an experience taking them into the forest with a guide and stethoscope to listen to the sounds of the trees “breathing,” and learn to practice their own breathing exercises to help them learn to manage their own feelings.
Located in Crans-Montana, the French-speaking part of Valais, a region in southwestern Switzerland, this property is the ideal place for parents to enjoy luxury, kids to have a ball and the whole family to experience a world-class destination.
From snow-covered landscapes in the winter to peaceful alpine forests in the summer, this year-round resort offers stunning views of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc massif. The atmosphere is at once serene and rejuvenating, with every detail focused on the same six senses of wellness that the Kids’ Club focuses on: social, environmental, physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual.
