Multigenerational

Coconut water is an amped-up version of plain H2O with many beneficial properties. For starters, it replenishes electrolytes after a hard workout and provides a source of vital nutrients, like potassium and vitamin C, to keep you on your best game. The best part about the delicious drink is it tastes like you are drinking straight from the coconut.

This alternative to traditional water is suitable to drink all year-round, but it is extra special in the spring and summer on hot days when you need something refreshing to quench your thirst. These three recipes will keep you cool, hydrated and feeling like you are on a tropical island all summer long.

Strawberry Coconut Water Lemonade

This refresher is for adults and kids alike. With a colorful twist on the typical bright-yellow drink, this uses Vita Coco, lemons and strawberries to brighten up your hot summer day. Perfect for children as is and adults can add a splash of vodka or rum to get the party started!

Spicy Coconut Margarita

Perfect on a nice summer day with a side of tortilla chips and tacos, this will be a kicker for a margarita. The recipe calls for tequila, Vita Coco, fresh lemon and agave. To make it spicy, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the mix and salt rim.

Coconut Water Smoothie

Another great way to incorporate this tasty drink is by using coconut water as a base for smoothies. Try this recipe that will be a family favorite. Mango, strawberries and banana with a drop of honey and Greek yogurt blend into a creamy, tropical smoothie perfect for a day at the beach.
