It’s like having your own private interpreter with you on your family travels; the Vasco Translator M3 fits in a pocket and, with the press of a button, it translates what people say to you and what you want to say to them.
Translating conversations is only one of this handy gadget’s tricks. It can also read signs and translate menus and telephone calls. The Vasco Translator M3 is small (less than 6 inches wide and 2 inches tall), light and easy to hold, and there’s no learning curve to use it. Simply press the button to choose speaking or listening.
Translating more than 70 different languages, the Vasco also has a SIM card to provide users with unlimited free internet access almost anywhere in the world. This means wherever you are, you’re not relying on WiFi or other internet sources.
The translation is almost instant, coming through in less than half a second, and the audio is clear and easy to understand, even in noisy places like airports or busy streets. One of the handiest features is the ability to photograph a menu or sign for an instant translation. That sure beats struggling to find menu terms in a phrase book or misunderstanding and ordering something you don’t like.
You can use it to translate phone calls, too, making it handy when you need to make reservations or travel arrangements, or when calling a foreign country from home. The battery is good for 180 hours without recharging and recharges in about four hours.
When traveling with children, the translator immerses them into the trip, so they understand what people around them are saying. Dealing with foreign languages is especially challenging for children who are too young to fully realize why they can’t understand people and why others can’t understand them. You can turn up the volume whenever you want, so children can hear conversations. The Vasco can help older children pick up foreign languages as they travel.
The history function allows toy to keep conversations for future reference or share them with others via email (possible anywhere because of the built-in SIM card).
