Family travelers can now enjoy a new all-inclusive resort in Miches, Dominican Republic, as Viva Miches by Wyndham officially opened in December 2024.

“We are thrilled to officially open the doors to Viva Miches,” said Dominique Colussi, vice president of development, Viva Resorts by Wyndham. “In the Dominican Republic, Miches is known for being uncharted, so we’re bringing natural beauty, modern luxury, and an all-inclusive experience to this enchanting, undiscovered beachfront locale.

 

With 538 guestrooms, the resort delivers a great value for guests of all ages. Accommodations range from oceanfront suites to ground-level Splash rooms with private plunge pools. Children can enjoy a supervised activities program with craft, games, themed parties and more at the Kid’s Club. Five restaurants are on offer, with one buffet and four à la carte options. Entertainment includes show-stopping productions, dance classes and the Viva Vibe Parties. Land and water sports include kayaking, snorkeling, pickleball and more; the resort is also located nearby other natural attractions. The overall design of Viva Miches mirrors the town’s unspoiled beauty and cultural richness.

Phase one is now complete, representing a $80 million investment. The total investment is expected to be $130 million. Future expansion will bring the resort to 750 guestrooms.
