Travel Tips

If you’re headed to St. Barth in the near future, make sure you’re booking accommodations offering something for everyone in the family, whether bringing along just the kids or a whole gaggle of family members. Choosing a villa over a hotel suite or adjoining guestrooms can be a boon when it comes to experiencing your stay in high style. Villas offer room for everyone to stretch out and relax, no overcrowding, and often come with extra amenities you can really appreciate in the moment.

Here are four villa options to consider for your St. Barth stay.

The Christopher St. Barth

The Christopher St. Barth unveiled a series of four-bedroom villas with interiors designed by Olivia Putnam. The large accommodations give your family the feel of a private residence, but you never leave behind all the services you generally expect with a 5-star hotel. Each villa comes with its own private pool, too — perfect if the kids want an early-morning swim while the parents and grandparents are enjoying coffee. Plus, parents and grandparents will also like The Christopher’s Sisley Spa, with its five treatment rooms all overlooking the ocean and its menu, including unique, locally inspired treatments such as a hot shell massage.

WIMCO Villas

Enjoy private family villas from WIMCO while on St. Barth, where the rental brand puts families first with extra amenities you’re sure to appreciate. With just a simple request, your villa will be outfitted with everything you need for childcare, including high chairs, cribs, car seats, formula and organic, kid-friendly snacks. Plus, they keep in mind various aspects of villas parents will want — such as bathtubs for bathing younger children, often not a feature found in many properties.

Hotel Manapany

At Hotel Manapy, you can book the Villa Creole, which fits five guests over two guestrooms set in a charming, island-style, two-story home. Each guestroom features its own bathroom, so there’s never a fight for shower space. A full kitchen, open living room and sundeck give everyone room to spread out, and you’re just a few steps from your private, direct beach access.

Le Sereno Villas

If it’s ultimate luxury you’re after, book one of these Le Sereno Villas, where you’ll enjoy ocean views from your private pool and sun deck. Each villa offers more than 7,000 square feet of space, lots of privacy and access to the Le Sereno hotel services and amenities, including the property’s fine-dining restaurant and main pool.
