Cruising

Cruises always update itineraries and ships to give passengers the best possible experience. Royal Caribbean International is just one of the major cruise lines constantly working to up its game.

Royal Caribbean is near ubiquitous. No matter which port you want to cruise out of, it is likely there is some kind of Royal Caribbean service. Royal Caribbean has the world’s biggest ship in Odyssey of the Seas.

Odyssey is the line’s newest and biggest ship. The Quantum Ultra class ship is set to arrive in North America around November 2020, featuring a brand-new aesthetic to match the ship’s atmosphere.

One of the biggest features for the new ship is its SeaPlex. The activity space offers one of the most interactive arcades on the ocean, an amped-up teen lounge with game consoles, music, movies and more for groups of kids and teenagers looking to spend time on board. A two-level pool deck gives passengers plenty of spots to stretch out and catch some sun.

The ship is decked out with new cruising experiences and offers them to American cruisers beginning at the end of 2020. After one year of serving the Caribbean and surrounding markets, it will head off to its homeport in Rome.

Royal Caribbean operates 28 ships across eight different classes. Throughout its entire fleet, the line sails to more than 300 destinations in the Caribbean and Bahamas, Europe, Alaska, North America, Asia and the South Pacific. The line also offers specialty cruises to places like South America and North Africa. No matter where your group is going, it is possible to find an itinerary in the region.

Many major cruise lines offer childcare and other youth clubs to keep kids busy while parents enjoy the ship. Royal Caribbean is no exception. The line has different programs available for travelers with babies and toddlers, as well as programs for teenagers who want to hang out away from their parents for a while. The line’s Adventure Youth Program lets kids in that middle range learn while they play and hangout with other cruisers their own age.

Different ships offer plenty of different options for dining, but every ship has a number of options to suite any taste. Check out the line’s dining page to see which offerings your ship of choice has.
