With a subscription service for nearly everything, it’s nice to know the box delivered to your door actually supports
something important to you — like female entrepreneurs and small businesses. The Women’s Collective subscription box is touted as the box for women by women.
Each box is filled with expertly curated items from accessories and home goods, to stationary and other fun surprises. The box also offers a virtual treasure hunt, helping shoppers learn more about their new items and the fierce females behind each brand. The human connection and personal stories add a thoughtful aspect to consumerism and encourage conscious shopping — a theme for the Women’s Collective.
Spoiler alert: The first Women’s Collective Box includes a pair of handmade earrings by female artisans, a vegan leather wallet, an all-natural clay face mask, a minimalist-style planner and a custom soy candle — exclusively made for The Women’s Collective. Individual boxes contain up to $200 worth of goods, but are priced at $54.95 per quarter — pay for an annual subscription and get a discount totaling $49.95 per box.
Women’s Collective Box founder Rashelle Whiteharris used her background as a photographer, new mother and network of supportive female entrepreneurs as inspiration and a stepping stone to spread the love even further.
“When women work together amazing things come out of it. Our mission is to build a community of women who want to help raise each other up,” said Rashelle Whiteharris, creator and founder, The Women’s Collective.
Five percent of the company’s proceeds go toward helping up-and-coming female entrepreneurs get their ideas off the ground. Boxes are shipped quarterly.
Subscribers can gift or keep their curated boxes, and feel good about giving back to like-minded women in the process.
