Trying to decide where to go for your next water park fix? Aquatica Orlando offers family travelers an array of thrilling water slides, special events, food and drink outlets, and more. Here are four reasons to visit Orlando’s Aquatica in 2023.

Beach Nights at Aquatica

Running Jan. 7–28, the park hosts Beach Nights at Aquatica, where visitors can enjoy movies on the beach after dark. Bring a blanket or sit on a provided beach chair and munch on fresh popcorn, snacks, hot chocolate and fountain drinks available for purchase at Kura’s Beachside Panini. For adults, relax and enjoy a movie with a specialty cocktail in hand from Trader Turi’s Tiki Bar. Movie nights are included with park admission and occur every Saturday through Jan. 28.

Reef Plunge

Slide through more than 330 feet of translucent cutouts and rings at the new Reef Plunge, a thrilling waterslide experience. Racing down the slide entails catching glimpses of marine life from a unique perspective. Spot dolphins, leopard sharks and other cold-water fish.

Food and Drinks

Aquatic Orlando boasts a wide variety of food and beverage options, allowing the whole family to find something they like. Waterstone Grill features classic dishes like chicken sandwiches, burgers, specialty wraps, kids’ meals and desserts. Banana Beach Cook-Out, open seasonally, offers guests BBQ ribs, pulled pork, Buffalo chicken wraps and even sangria, beer and wine for adults. Other eateries include Ke-Re’s Bar, Kura’s Beachside Panini and Papa’s Cantina.

Slides, Rides and Thrills

Aquatica doesn’t just feature the all-new Reef Plunge. The park also includes countless other waterslides, rapids, beaches and experiences for kids of all ages to enjoy. Ihu’s Breakaway Falls features a free-fall drop from the steepest multidrop tower of its kind in Orlando, while Loggerhead Lane carries visitors through a lazy river ride.
