Family travelers obsessed with pickleball can experience the national championships in Atlantic City, New Jersey, this September. USA Pickleball holds the third annual USA Pickleball Indoor National Championships, Sept. 19 –23, at Atlantic City Convention Center.

The tournament features five days of competition with singles, doubles and mixed doubles across various age and skill brackets. Gold medalists from each division receive a Golden Ticket, a pre-registration spot for the 2024 championships.

“We’re thrilled to bring the USA Pickleball Indoor National Championships to Atlantic City this fall, a coastal destination city that will serve as an incredible host for our players,” said Justin Maloof, COO, USA Pickleball. “I look forward to welcoming players and fans to this tournament, which stands out on the calendar and schedule. We’re excited to see who in Atlantic City is able to punch their Golden Ticket to next year’s Nationals.”

This year’s event features new, state-of-the-art, cushioned, pop-up pickleball courts. The innovation in flooring is manufactured using a polyvinyl sub-surface with a textured non-skid playing surface, making the game easier on players’ legs.

For those interested in competing, registration is currently open. The 2022 games, held in Hoover, Alabama, hosted 704 participants.
