Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation that updated its guest suites, water park, attractions, restaurants, conference center and more, marking the lodge’s single largest and most extensive refresh in its 16-year history. “With the completion of our $40 million renovation, it’s safe to say the family experience at Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound is better than ever,” said John Taffin, general manager, Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound. “We enhanced and elevated every aspect of the resort, and gave families more experiences to enjoy. I think it’s safe to say that families who visited our resort before this renovation was completed are going to be amazed when they come back.”
The Grand Lobby now boasts a more modern look and features a new lobby show called Legend of Luna, a nightly experience that immerses guests in the story. A new family-friendly buffet restaurant, Timbers Table & Kitchen, sits off the lobby, complementing new full-service Fireside restaurant. Multiple quick-service eateries join the roster, including Fatburger, Buffalo’s Express, Hot Dog on a Stick, Pretzelmaker, Freshwoods Market, Woods End Creamery and Hungry As A Wolf.

The lodge upgraded to the latest version of its live-action MagiQuest game, while Northern Lights Arcade added 1,000 square feet of games and prizes. New retail outlets include Buckhorn Exchange Gift Shop, Build-A-Bear, Candy Company and Paddle Bay Outfitters. Great Geyser Water Park now offers newly renovated restrooms and locker rooms, and the Cub Paw Pool and Whooping Hollow attractions include new theming elements and water features.
All guest suites were refurbished and a new category was introduced, the Wolf Den Skylight Suites, combining traditional family suites with themed suites. The conference space also received an upgrade.
