In a private session suitable for adults and children, a master gondolier shares the secrets of the city’s famous black gondolas, demonstrating expert tips and trips before guests grab the oars and navigate for themselves. Budding artists can take a Venetian mask-making offering on Giudecca. After selecting from more than 50 different papier-maché models with the help of a local Venetian mascherari, guests decorate their mask as they choose. The hotel can arrange for families with children to visit a local Murano glass-blowing workshop.
