Hotels

Hilton Molino Stucky Venice will deliver even more fun for family travelers this spring and beyond with new activities tailored to tiny travelers, teens and parents.

Aspiring chefs can partake in a series of cooking classes, both on property and beyond. Young bakers can step into the kitchen and learn to bake special Bussolà cookies from Burano, also known as Venetian butter cookies. For those who prefer savory, pasta-making classes with the hotel’s in-house expert are also available. Families venturing further afield can join a traditional Venetian cooking class nearby on Giudecca Island, which also includes a guided walk through the neighborhood.

A new family picnic experience in the Stucky garden is another great choice. Families will enjoy assorted sandwiches, a charcuterie and cheese board, bread, grissini, and fruit, with a bottle of wine for adults and smoothies for little ones.

Kiddos can learn a new skill while at Hilton Molino Stucky Venice with new activities designed to immerse all ages in the local culture and history, like gondola rowing. In a private session suitable for adults and children, a master gondolier shares the secrets of the city’s famous black gondolas, demonstrating expert tips and trips before guests grab the oars and navigate for themselves. Budding artists can take a Venetian mask-making offering on Giudecca. After selecting from more than 50 different papier-maché models with the help of a local Venetian mascherari, guests decorate their mask as they choose. The hotel can arrange for families with children to visit a local Murano glass-blowing workshop.

Families can relax all together at Hilton Molino Stucky Venice’s eForea spa with a junior spa treatment menu including Mummy/Daddy & Me Body Massage, Mini Mani-Pedi with Polish and Massage, and Head-to-Toe Facial and Foot Massage Duo.

Following their spa session, families can cozy up for a special movie night, available during the summer school holidays. Complimentary for all in-house guests, kids grab a box of popcorn, juice and hot chocolate to watch their favorite cartoons and new releases on the big screen.

What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from  Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.

Multi-Generational Travel Reimagined at Sensei

Multigenerational travel doesn’t always entail families with younger children; it can also involve young adult children traveling with their parents and grandparents. Although many hotels and resorts tend to focus more on the younger children side of multigenerational family trips, Sensei is helping older generations form a new connection through workshops and wellness.
