LEGOLAND is always a good time for families with little ones, but this holiday season, there is even more reason for families to put these theme parks on their radar. Starting Nov. 22, LEGOLAND parks transform into winter wonderlands with holiday decorations, holiday-themed activities and fun for the whole family.
Live-action shows will feature holiday themes and costumes, along with plenty of holiday songs to dance and sing along to. Children will have the opportunity to meet LEGO Santa at the North Pole and write letters to him with the help of the elves at the North Pole Postal Service.
On select dates throughout December (Dec. 6, 13 and 20–31), the park will host a very special holiday fireworks show to celebrate the season. Throughout the park, you’ll find plenty of great photo opps, from holiday characters like a snowman to a giant LEGO holiday wreath.
At home, families love taking photos underneath decorated Christmas trees. LEGOLAND keeps the Christmas tree tradition alive, but its tree and ornaments are all made out of bricks. Each park will have a massive Christmas tree standing more than 30 feet tall at the center of its celebration. Each tree will also feature nearly 365,000 LEGO and Duplo bricks, making it perfect for a family holiday photo opp.
The festivities run all the way through Jan. 4, 2026, at both parks, so there is plenty of time to plan a trip to LEGOLAND California or LEGOLAND Florida.

The next time you’re on a family travel road trip — even a short one — try giving your kids an old-fashioned paper road map. If you don’t have one, your nearest visitor center will likely have highway maps for your state. Show them where you are and where you are going, and suggest they follow along on the map as you travel.
