Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, a new all-inclusive beachfront resort, invites family travelers to embark on a one-of-a-kind trip to the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The resort was designed for multigenerational travelers through meaningful moments and family-friendly activities. The resort’s location also means guests are introduced to a new side of the Dominican Republic beyond the island’s typical resort strips.

The newly built resort features 500 rooms and suites with garden, pool or oceanfront views. Some suites even have a direct swim-out option. In guestrooms, guests can expect plush bedding, big bathrooms with rain showers and double vanities, and Pharmacopia Natural Bodycare amenities. Families can upgrade their stay and book the Preferred Club, which has additional amenities like upgraded suite locations, butler services, exclusive lounge and pool access, and enhanced in-room amenities.

Families can expect a full schedule of amenities and activities for all ages. The Explorer’s Club features a range of supervised activities for kids ages 3–12, while Core Zone Teens Club is aimed for teens ages 13–17. Activities include arts and crafts, beach games, teen socials, and more. And while kids play and explore, parents can unwind and enjoy some alone time.

Other family-friendly amenities include two pools, a third pool dedicated to families, a waterpark with thrilling slides and splash zones, a fitness center, Secrets Spa, a full-service beauty salon, and much more.
