Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, a 560-room resort in the Greater Palm Springs area, recently completed a comprehensive, multimillion-dollar renovation. With the updates come new resort experiences, a Kids Eat Free package, new pickleball courts, upgraded poolside cabanas, the debut of Seven Olive Modern Gastropub and Topgolf Swing Suites, and more.
The resort’s transformation touched nearly every guest-facing space, from meeting rooms, ballrooms and foyers to newly redesigned arrival experiences at the lobby and front desk. Outdoors, the pool’s cabana experience now features modular furnishings, smart TVs, updated lounge seating and personalized beverage service delivered poolside. The expansive recreation offerings are anchored by the region’s largest resort pool with sandy beach entry, expansive lounging areas and private cabanas. Seasonal programming includes frozen treats, poolside activities and dive-in movie nights on select evenings.
A lineup of activities proves why the resort is a leading family destination in the Coachella Valley. Options include electric bike rentals; the interactive Hawk Talk birds-of-prey experience; and Desert Glow Entertainment Zone, featuring arcade games, duckpin bowling, virtual reality attractions and an escape room.
New Topgolf Swing Suites bring immersive, climate-controlled entertainment to the resort, with interactive golf, baseball and carnival-style games. Four new pickleball courts expand the outdoor recreation offerings.
Led by trained counselors, Camp Esmeralda delivers supervised daily programming for younger guests, including arts and crafts, slime making, sand art, tie-dye and ceramic painting. Kids’ Night Out programming gives parents time to enjoy resort dining or spa experiences.
The 13,000-square-foot Spa Esmeralda features 11 treatment rooms, eight outdoor cabanas, a couple’s suite and a garden courtyard with plunge pool. Adjacent Renew Recovery Lounge offers advanced wellness therapies focused on athletic recovery, travel restoration and sleep optimization.
Through Aug. 28, the Kids Eat Free offer is valid for one registered guest age 12 and under per paying adult. The promotion includes complimentary children’s dining from the kids’ menus at CAVA and Seven Olive, with one free kids’ meal per adult entrée purchased.
There’s also a special offer designed just for educators. The Classroom to Cabana package includes 50 percent off daily self-parking, 50 percent off the daily resort fee and 50 percent off pool cabana day rentals (Monday through Thursday).
