Available through February 2020, the Puppy Love package starts at just $124 per night and includes overnight accommodations in a pet-friendly room; daily buffet breakfast at Ocean Blue, the resort’s casual beachfront restaurant; a special doggie treat or toy at check-in; and unlimited use of the resort’s all-new dog park.
Families also receive 50 percent off nightly pet fees for a savings of $37 per night. Guests booking the Puppy Love package should use rate code 0PT.
So what is there for humans to do at the hotel? Situated on a quarter-mile stretch of Atlantic shoreline, the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton, Myrtle Beach Oceanfront is located at the south end of Myrtle Beach’s Ocean Boulevard.
The property is set across 27 acres on the south end of Ocean Boulevard and features private beaches and plenty of activities — including outdoor pools, heated indoor pools and two lazy rivers — not to mention the brand’s famous chocolate chip cookie welcome amenity.
The hotel features six swimming pools in all, an 18-hole miniature golf course, oceanfront dining, a fitness center and expansive lawns. Adjacent to the pet-friendly Myrtle Beach State Park, the resort is also just minutes away from Market Commons lifestyle center, and offers concierge play at nearly 30 nearby golf courses.
Guestrooms feature exterior corridors with ocean views and private balconies, as well as free WiFi, a 40-inch HDTV, a mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker.
One-bedroom suites, especially suited for families, offer a king bed or two queen beds plus a living area with sofa sleeper. Accessible rooms are also available, and pet-friendly rooms feature tile floors.
Myrtle Beach is home to 60-plus miles of beaches, shopping, dining, water sports and live entertainment. Families can check out the shops, restaurants and nightlife at Broadway at the Beach — ziplining over a lake or navigating a mirror maze, anyone? — or visit the Family Kingdom seaside amusement park.
For a dose of art and culture, try Nostalgia City & Museum, the Carolina Opry, the Myrtle Beach Civil War Collection and Brookgreen Gardens.
