Have a member of your family that loves to travel just as much as you do? Stick one of these presents under the tree.
The Original Scratch Map Travelogue
For pre-teens and teens who want a more “grown-up” travel journal, the Original Scratch Map Travelogue is fun with a sophisticated aesthetic. It comes with eight scratch maps, so they can mark off the countries they visit and, as they do, they’ll learn interesting things about the world. The accompanying travel diary has spots to plan upcoming travel and write about their adventures as they happen.
Random House Maps
Younger kids that love learning about the world and imagining their future travel endeavors will get lost for hours in these beautifully illustrated maps by Random House. At 112 pages, there are endless places, peoples and facts to explore.
A Travel Magazine Subscription
You love leafing through your monthly travel magazines when they arrive, so why wouldn’t your young reader love to do the same? Give them the gift that keeps on giving all year with a subscription to a kid-friendly travel magazine. National Geographic Kids and National Geographic Little Kids include fun for varying ages.
GoPro Hero7 White
For your budding travel vlogger, help them capture their adventures in style — without the worries of a broken iPhone or camera. The GoPro Hero7 White is durable, rugged and waterproof, with a touchscreen and voice control, but still manages to capture HD video perfect for YouTube.
Flyte Luggage
While your child may not think luggage is exactly exciting when they first open this gift on Christmas morning, they might change their mind when they see just what their new Flyte luggage can do. Flyte is a lightweight, sturdy and compact luggage solution for young kids that just so happens to also be a scooter. Kids can happily zip through terminals while also meeting all international airline luggage standards.
Kindle Paperwhite
Not ready to invest in an iPad for your child just yet, but they’re old enough and mature enough to have their own tablet for reading, watching shows and movies and playing games while on your next flight? The Kindle Paperwhite e-reader is a good option and it’s easy to see why this is the best-selling Kindle. With high resolution and no screen glare, it’s perfect to read both day and night and a single battery charge lasts weeks.
